  1. The most challenging was to put the glue and put all the stix and to not put the hot glue on are fingers. We make lots of triangles to be the bridge to be stronger but are brige was not squared. I learn that a brige need to be square :)

  2. The most challenging thing about this workshop was to make our bridge square and to make the triangles strong and stedy. The thing that would have made our bridge stronger was to have some more glue so it would make it stronger. I learned that a truss bridge should always have cross brassing and strong triangles to make it hold strate and if you don't make it square it could fall on the side. I can't wait to make my next bridge. See you next time.

  3. I found putting the pices was the hardest part because the glue was hot! I think that if I could make it stronger I would put things congruent. I learned that triangles are the strongest shapes.

  4. I thought the most callenging part was to stick the sticks really strait and hurry up to put the glue on.I think that we would of need to put more glue on the top of the popcicle sticks. What I learned was that the sides of the triangles needs to be all = and the bridge need to be solid and really square.I had lots of fun doing this activity see you in march.

  5. It was to put the glue on and to put the x on and to do the peses .To put the x on it would be stroger and the lins.We need to put some triangol on the briges and to put some x to make it stronger than normal or no car ,truck and train it would go down in the water and not soport on of it.

  6. The most challenging thing for my group and I was to make the cross brace because we tried to make it holed, but it didn't then finally we got it,but it still fall when we did the test .our bridge would of have been stronger if we could have put more layers of popcicle sticks and a lot more hot glue.I learned that truss bridges are made with a lot of triangles because triangles are the strongest shape and to.

  7. I think the most challenging part was to make the bridge very equal because you have to move fast but you have to try and make it equal at the same time. So I found it diffacult to really go fast but keep it equal and preceiase.

I think one thing that could have made my teams bridge was to put a strong and equal cross brace.

I thing I learned about the truss bridge is that NEED a cross brace or else if something goes on it the bridge will fall down FLAT!

    Thanks for reading my comment!

  8. The most challenging thing of building bridges was to put the the sticks on the line and to keep it strait without burning our selfs. To make my bridge stronger I would put our cross braces strait and not passing the sticks and really steady. I also think That would of made our bridges stronger would be to put more glue and to make sure if you try not to hard but just a little bit push on the bridge and the cross braces to make sure it is really steady. What I learned about truss bridges is that triangles are the strongest shape for bridges. I really had fun and I cant wait till you come back.

  9. I think that the most chellenging part of this activity was to glue the bridge together. I think the cross brasses made the bridge stronger. I learned that the cross brasses made a big difference to keep it stedy

  10. The hardest part of the workshop is when you hade to use the hot glue gun because you hade to get it right on spot because if you got it on yourself it burned. What would have made our brige stronger is if we would of made the cross braces stronger then we would of won. What I learned about truss briges is that you have to make the brige squre or it will not be strong and what I also leant about truss briges is that you have to make your cross bracing strong. I can't wait to see you again.

  11. The most challenging part of the workshop is trying not to touch the tip of the hot glue gun.
We would build our bridge stronger if we would put more glue everywhere and finish our cross braces because we didn't have time to finish.
I learned that you have to be fast in the beginning so at the end you can be slower but still fast.

  12. The most challenging part was when we had to make the cross-brasses because are sticks were to small so mr. Colley told us that we could put two popsickle stick so we did that. Are bridge could have more books on it if we had put the two sides closer to each other so we could make two cross-brasses if we had put the two of them closer. When we made the bridges I learned that triangles are the strongest shape to make the bridges.

  13. I learned that if you want to have bridge that is strong it need to be square and you need to have goo X for your to not fall. What was challenging was to put the glue and to make them strong and to stike the stick on the bridges. And to not and never put the glue on your finger or it would be so hot that you would not do it again

  14. The most challing thing for me was to put the x's on the side and to put the glue. To put more glue and to not bern myself. I lerd that you have to becarful and to that the best way to do some is puting triangles because it will hold more :)

  15. The hade thing was put the hot gule to not burn yoursife. To put triangues on your bridges it and it was fun to do that. I lded that the triangles. always to be and to not tuch the hot gule with their hands.

  16. The hardest part of the workshop was to put the glue without burning our self and to hurry so the glue wouldn't dry to put the stix on. The bridge would be stronger if the bridge was as square as it could be and by adding cross brases on each end. I learned that the truss bridges should all have triangles. The triangles should all be congruent and stedy. If they are not congruent, the bridge won't be as strong as if the triangles are all congruent. If the bridge is not square, the bridge won't be as strong as if it was perfectly square shape. If we were not quick enough, the glue would dry and we would need to put more glue, but by putting more glue on, it would not be even so the bridge would not be as square as possible. If the triangle were not congruent, the bridge would not be so strong so it would maybe not hold 10 lbs, like it was suppose to, it would maybe brake.
I am exited for you to come back so we could build more bridges.
Hope we can see each other soon Mr. Colley. :)

  17. The most challenging part of this activity is that there was a time limit it was 1 HOUR it does seem long, but it wasn't LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing that would of made our bridge stronger is we should of put more glue on the corners, to make our bridge more SQUARE and to put more glue on the cross bracers. I learn that bridges are most made of triangles. Triangles are one of the most stronger shape in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank-you very much Mr. Colley for this beautiful experience.
OH and my groups name is THE GIRLS BUILD BUILDERS.
    Thank- you again!

  18. the most challinging thing was the time limit and the limted stuf the thing that made my bridge stronger was the triangles Iearn that truss bridges are the stongest kind of bridges and that truss bridges have tostay square or it will collaps [fall] wich you didint want to happen we allso learn that triangles where the strogest shape
